During this Art and Science immersion camp, campers will explore the world of all things gross. Artistic projects, include drawing, painting, creating recycled art from trash and making a paper mache sculpture with a “gross” theme. Campers will learn about famous Artist like Federico Uriben, learn the importance of not wasting, and ways we can protect the planet from pollution. Science activities involve discovering fun facts about frog mucus and slime, performing hands-on experiments to create Oobleck, making gross slime, and experimenting with unusual liquids.
Campers will dive into the wonders of the jungle and its inhabitants. Artistic endeavors include drawing animals such as poisonous dart frogs and monkeys, as well as sculpting and painting paper mache jungle animals. Learn about the fantastic jungle art of Henry Rousseau. Science sessions will focus on jungle conservation and hands-on activities like building terrariums, crafting fossil bones, simulating volcanic explosions and more!
Campers will learn fascinating facts about dinosaurs and their science. Art projects feature drawing prehistoric creatures like Hatzegopteryx and Styracosaurus and creating a paper mache dinosaur. Science experiments include making fossils, creating quicksand, vobserving volcanic eruptions, hatching dino eggs and more!
This four-day week focuses on animals and objects that fly. Campers will research and draw creatures such as the Andean Condor and Eurasian Eagle Owl, and craft paper mache pieces. Science activities include learning about airplanes, machine, conducting experiments to create flying objects and more!
Campers will immerse themselves in fantasy worlds, creating artwork depicting magical creatures and landscapes. Step-by-step drawing lessons will guide campers in illustrating fantasy creatures, and they will sculpt dragons or other imaginative creatures with paper mache. Science activities include Magic Milk, Whirlpool in a bottle, Lava lamps and more!
This week offers an exploration of space through art and science. Campers will paint and draw galaxies, spaceships, and other celestial objects, learning drawing techniques with basic shapes. They will sculpt rockets or space-themed objects with paper mache. Science sessions will cover facts about space and include hands-on experiments such as Galaxy in a Bottle, Coke - Mentos Geysers, snow in Texas and more!

Weekly Virtual Zoom Drawing and Sketching clubs for 7 - 13 yrs. olds. Learn to draw anything with basic shapes and techniques taught by Jennifer Jones.
